Patricia's Story
After graduating, I decided I had enough of school. So, I skipped a year and worked full time.(Like I didn't skip enough when I was in school). Started at CSM a semester later and received an A.A. in General Studies from CSM. Transferred to St.Mary's College and loved it! Changed majors and transferred to Univ. of MD. at College Park. Received Bachelor's in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Worked full time entire 4 years in college.
I had a plan. I was moving out of Charles County and only returning to visit family. Well, plans changed. I live in the county, work in the county, drive a county car, use county gas and will probably be in this county for at least another 11 years!
I started working for The Charles County Government in 1995. I met my husband, David in 1996. We married in 2000. We had our first son, Michael in 2002 and our second son, Steven in 2004. They are growing up so quickly and entertain...Expand for more
ing us in the process.
This year has been a tough one for us all, but you live and learn. I used to wish I could go back in time and do things over, but I would not be where I was at right now and this is where I want to be!
Taking the boys to Ju Jitsu three times a week, myself there 3X a week, swim practice for boys 5X a week and a swim meet once a week is a little exhausting, but is well worth it.
We are spending most of the summer at the pool with the boys. I think they have gills.
I hope life has treated you as well as it has treated me. I have been truly blessed and feel so fortunate. I miss all of you and hope we will see each other again in 2010. Reunion??
