Patricia's Story
I left Maconaquah HS when my dad was transferred to Statesboro, GA, where I attended Marvin Pittman H.S., which was the experimental school for Georgia Southern College (now univ), where I attended high school 1/2 day, and college 1/2 day. Graduated and went to GS, until my dad was transferred to Michigan. Visited Michigan Tech, fell in love with it, and transferred there. Finished, got a job there. Two y...Expand for more
ears later realized its was dead end for a single woman (older than college students) moved to Pittsburgh, where I meet my husband. In 1989 with our 2 kids, moved to eastern WA. Then, moved to the SF Bay area in 1994. I went back to graduate school, finished MA then Phd. Teach philosophy, humanities, and religion (mostly philosophy) at Chabot College, a community college, in the San Francisco Bay area.
