Patricia's Story

I always wanted to be a PROFESSIONAL BOWLER when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a GOOD idea. As it turns out, they were RIGHT. I DID BOWL PROFESSIONALLY FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAD A GREAT TIME DOING IT. I LOVE TO SPEND TIME WITH MY GRANDKIDS..THEY KEEP ME BUSY FOR SURE I THINK FOR ME IT IS MY SON. HE IS CURRENTLY IN THE NAVY, SERVED IN IRAQ AND WAS AWARDED THE NAVY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL FOR ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. I'M PROUD OF BOTH MY CHILDREN, THEY HAVE GROWN UP TO BE RESPONSIBLE ADULTS. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is JERRY BAILEY, because I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT HE HAS BEEN DOING ALL THESE YEARS. BASEBALL FOR SURE...NO PETS, NO REAL OBSESSIONS I guess I thought I would be married forever and it didn't turn out that way. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel THE KITCHN and add on a SEWING ROOM. My dream home would be SINGLE STORY FOR SURE. FROM MY DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW..I THINK I HAVE LEARNED PATIENCE AND THAT HAVING THE BEST OF EVERYTHING REALLY ISN'T THAT IMPORTANT. GOOD THINGS DO COME TO THOSE THAT WAIT. FROM MY SON...TO BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE. If I won $100 million, I'd give...Expand for more
SOME of it to MY CHURCH, then spend the rest on MY KIDS , AND GRANDKIDS and ME OF COURSE. NO WELL I THINK I AM TRULY HAPPY NOW. AN OLD LOVE HAS COME BACK INTO MY LIFE AND WE HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS. HE WILL BE HERE TO VISIT SOON AND I CAN'T WAIT. My current age is 61. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be DEAD. I was so completely WRONG. HAVE WORKED FOR PG&E FOR 30 YEARS...WHAT MORE CAN I SAY MY FIRST CRUSH WAS JERRY BAILEY CLASS OF '65...WHO KNOWS WHERE HE IS, I DON'T. My best friend would tell you I'm SENSITIVEAND CARING, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as HARD NOSED. NO WAY...I TRY TO STAY UP WITH THE CLOTHES OF TODAY BUT AGE APPROPRIATE I share my home with NO ONE, which I find OK. WELL THEY NO LONGER ON THE MANTEL, BUT I DID WIN QUITE A FEW FOR BOWLING IN JUNIORS THEN AS AN ADULT... NO SURE, BUT THERE MUST BE SOMETHING In 10 years, I hope to be RETIRED . I'm going to get there by WORKING TOWARDS THAT GOAL. My first job was at FW WOOLWORTHS, where I got paid ALMOST NOTHIN to CASHIER. What I remember most about it is IT WAS A FUN JOB AND I WORKED WITH MY MOM.
