Patricia's Story
Life
Graduated from UT in 1979 with a degree in Advertising. Moved to Kansas City and worked at the Kansas City Star. Married in 1981 and moved to Houston. Began a career in the hotel business. Worked at the Inn on the Park Four Seasons Hotel. Divorced in 1985, no children. Moved to Austin and was part of the staff that opened the Four Seasons Austin. Left the hotel business in 1987, and went into the banking industry until 1990, when I met and married my husband, James. We have been married almost 17 years, and we have twin boys, aged 14. We live on 8 acres in Hays County, between Austin and San Marcos. I currently serve on our local school board, and am a very busy mom, with one of my boys having multiple disabilities. nio. I also have two beautiful step daughters, and two grandchildren.
I have always been active and exercised through the years, going through most of the past crazes....aerobics, step classes, jogging, pilates, yoga... you name it. I just had spinal surgery in November '06, so I am out of that business for a while. I get to do some traveling for school business, and will be going to Hilton Head, SC for an education conference this month.
I keep checking this site for pictures of my former classmates. Very few out there! I decided I would put my photo on and hopefully encourage more of you to do the same. Hey, we all have grown older.........I'm still having a hard time believing that I will be 50 next year! I know, very depressing, but much better than the alternative!
