Patricia's Story
I am currently living in the Phoenix area and selling real estate. I practiced dental hygiene in Washington for over 30 years, and even got my liscense to practice in Az, but it is just a different world down here~too much managed healthcare.......huge clinics/real production oriented. I absolutely love what I do~it is alot more fun than scrapping teeth. Even tho the economy isn't great, I had my best year ever~just worked really hard to do so.
I have been divorced for over a year~a spot I NEVER saw myself being. It has been a tough year in that respect and then my son (31), Ryan was diagnosed with a very rare form of leukemia. I spent 6 weeks with him at U of W during his initial chemo. He had ...Expand for more
a stem cell transplant in July and has beat all odds so far. We pray that he continues to do well.
I have 2 children. I work with my beautiful, 32 year old daughter. Heather. I am so lucky to have a very close relationship with her. She has 2 children.......a boy and a girl. Ryan also has 2 girls. I may be a grandmother, but I am still immature!! I have a blast with all the kids, altho I don't get to see Ryan's very often.
I still keep in touch with alot of our high school/jr high school people. Friends and family are critically important to me. My parents live down here, about 15 miles from me, so I check in on them regularly.
I have great friends, family and all in all, a wonderful life.
