Patricia's Story
Life
I'm a stay-at-home mom now, with 2 daughters, and I homeschool them.
Workplace
I co-op in college for NASA and Northern Telecom (Nortel). Upon graduation I went to work for GE Aerospace - which then was bought by Martin Marietta, then merged with Lockheed to become Lockheed Martin. I worked there as a Systems Engineer for about 3 years, and met my husband-to-be. We moved to Northern Virginia and worked for a small software company called Blacksmith. And got married. n went to work for Digital Focus (another software firm). I had Abi, worked part time, then left the software world for a much better life at home with my girls.
We moved to Oregon for a year, and then on to Washington State - just outside of Seattle. We love the Pacific Northwest!
Now I'm full time mom/educator, homeschooling my kids and enjoying life! My husband is still in the software world, working for Microsoft. We are also starting to raise Alpacas on our little ranch!
