Married May '64. Two kids, David 45 and Debra 44. One grandchild, Erin 18.
I'm afraid that I've been boring.
My husband passed away in 2003 after 39 years of marriage. I've had breast cancer 2x, 1997 and 2006. The last time I lost the breast. All is well with that as none of it had spread.
I retired from the State employment (don't groan) in 2008. I keep busy. I've redone my house. I'm good with a screw driver and a drill....although I broke the toliet tank chang...Expand for more
ing the handle..I know, I know...super glue really works.
I've had one "blind" date 2 years ago..eek..I haven't dated since I was 16. I didn't like him and he liked me so that was uncomfortable...like a fly..so I had to get the swatter out and put an end to that.
Life is good and I'm happy.
Wow....I missed the 50th reunion!! REALLY wanted to go , but, pulled my neck moving a huge planter and messed up my neck. I'm sure everyone had a great time...wish I was there.
