Since graduation I have attended UAB, Lawson State and graduated from Samford University, Suma Cum Laude' with a Dual B.S Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics. I am married with two sons. I have a brother who graduated from J.O. in 1983 (Dwane), who is a physician and is married and living in Miami, FL. I have been employed at UAB for almost 22 years now in the area of research. Currently I am in Cancer Research. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, Hershell, and two sons. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Whenever the time permits, I like helping to shape young minds in science and math. My husband is great defender of children as well, he takes the time to volunteer often now at South Hampton Elementary, Holy Family High, and he use to volunteer at Daniel Payne Middle especially in the band area when our children were there in attendance.
