I had two wrong side brain tumor surgeries at RI hospital a few years back. My third at Mt. Sinai in NYC where they saved my life. I have always love animals. When I was ill I use to spend time outside feeding squirrels, ducks, birds, and the song about a bird rising up and flying like a bird, I said if I survive this I am going to help raise, rescue and care for them like they made me feel, peaceful, watching them fly from tree to tree.
