Patricia's Story

After graduating in 1964, I came to Delaware to go to Goldey Beacom College, majoring in Accounting and Business Administration. In 1967, I met my future husband at work and we were married June 1, 1968. We had two beautiful boys - one in 1973 and one in 1978. We have lived in the Newark area since our marriage but also have enjoyed weekends and summers at the Delaware beac...Expand for more
hes. In 2004 we were blessed with a granddaughter and then a grandson in 2006. Sadly, my husband passed away December 2011 after a short illness. I have worked as an accountant my entire career - a profession that I still enjoy. For years, needlework and gardening have kept me busy in my spare time. As I still have family in Altoona, I normally visit several times a year.
