Patricia's Story

Life Hello Everyone: I attended Oak Lawn H.S. until my junior year when I moved to Glen Ellyn, Illinois. I went to Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago, and worked for a time at the "Old" Cook County Hospital. I started working on my degree at Loyola U at Lewis Towers. I married, had a little boy, and eventually moved to new York for three years. I moved to Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington,D.C. over 35 years ago. Now I know what a really great city Chicago is, and I miss it, especially the White Castle and those lovely old brick bungalows. In Virginia I divorced, went to George Mason University and received a B.A. in Political Science in the late 1970s; I also earned a Paralegal Certificate fom Georgetown University in D.C. I worked as a Domestic Policy An...Expand for more
