Life Hi everybody, in 1976 I moved to Appalachin, New York, where I worked for Crown Industries (sub contract for IBM & the government & others). I attended Broome Community College, & attended classes at Hidy Ochiai 's Karate where I achieved my brown belt & was working toward my black belt. Then my father was promoted to Vice Pres. of his company and transferred to Wausau,WI. I moved with my family to Wausau(1980). I worked in a nursing home, two factories and attended N.C.T.I. for interpreting for the deaf. I also over the course of the next couple years went to countless martial arts tournaments. In two consecutive years I won 6th & 5th in the nation in my division (brown belt) at the Diamond Nationals. I also met my husband at the karate school where I practiced.(that's another story...). Rob & I were married at my parent's home in Rib Mountain (Wausau) on June 8th, 1985. We moved to Big Rapids where Rob worked for Ferris State University. In 1987 we moved to Lansing,MI. Rob has been working for Lansing Community College since then. I have worked for many companies ( Benson's Animal Hospital, Assistant Mgr. for Bakers in the mall, Store Mgr. for Mothercare in the mall , & Frank's Nursery & Crafts as Houseplant Dept.
