Patricia's Story
I moved to Florida in the summer of 1979; my dad got a job here. I got married in ‘87, divorced in ‘91. No kids. BA in advertising from UCF; took classes for Master’s in Advertising while my (ex) husband went to law school at UF. Wasn’t able to finish due to his job. Worked in advertising for a while, then at AAA for 17 years as writer/editor for TourBook. Now living with my beau for 3 years. I got into new wave and punk long ago; still love it and go to concerts still. I got into rockabilly and swing dancing around 2000. I LOVE fashion; when I was growing up we didn’t have $ but once I started working I became a shopaholic & fashionista. My old classmates probably don’t believe it but it’s true. Lol! I love animals too; I had a beautiful tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but she passed in October from lymphoma; she was such a love...Expand for more
and I miss her terribly. She was 11 & 9 months. I have 3 cats and
am looking for a new puppy. My mom passed away in ‘93 from an aneurysm. My dad died 6 years ago - lung cancer. I was his caregiver after my mom died until he died. I have 2 beautiful nieces (Jeanine’s girls); Alexis is a nurse and married & Hannah is in marketing. I have 2 handsome nephews courtesy of my oldest sister Leslie; they still live on Long Island & the older one Michael has a 1-year-old daughter. My sister Lynn is married and lives near Tampa; my brother John is married and lives in NC. No kids for Lynn or John. Now you’re all up-to-date; feel free to contact me to catch up.
