Patricia's Story
Solitary, but fun to be with.
I always wanted to be a architect when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
Meditation and photography relax me. But the wildest thing done in school was finish.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have love for what I doing, good fashion sense, and get lots of money to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero would be my son. He reminds me daily that I've done more than one thing right in my life.
Besides Maryland, DC and Virginia (Northern and Central), I've also lived in Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Davie, and Boca, Florida. The Bahamas, Nausa and Freeport and a short stint in Mexico City which didn't improve my spanish. I've also lived in Galveston and currently Friendswood which is just outside Houston, Texas. I moved to helpout my son who's here in the USCG.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Robyn Smith-Brooks, because she's my sons Godmother and I miss her.
Things most obsessed with, The Superbowl, NBA Playoffs, Chinese Crested dogs, I Want That Tech Toy,
Top Chief,Hell's Kitchen, Weeds, Bill Marh, The Daily Show, Robin Meadows and Coast to Coast AM.
My biggest surprise is to be still alive.
"Quid...Expand for more
Pro Quo" is what I've leaned from my son. I might have given up in High School if it weren't for Durso. If I won $100 million, I'd give all of it to my son. To be truly happy, you could be anywhere, as long as you remember to Live, Love and Laugh often.
My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be smarter. I was so completely wrong.
My first crush married and became a Rabbi. My best friend would tell you I'm wise, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as weird. I like to dress casual to professional unless I'm on my bike.
I've kept only the plates from trophies for bowling and golf. With one do over in life, I would live more and worry less. In 10 years, I hope to be somewhere safe, warm and fun. I'm going to get there by any means necessary.
My oldest friend would be Robyn Smith who I met in second grade at Nativity Catholic School. We clicked because we had our Dads who also grow up together.
The thing that would surprise most people at my high school reunion is that I haven't changed much and I'm still alive.
My first job was at Freedmans Hospital, where I got paid nothing to type and file. What I remember most about it is the fun I had and the people I met.
