Patricia's Story
We moved to Michigan from Tennessee when I was in forth grade. I had a real southern drawl and was teased a lot about it. I was very bashful, so it was really hard for me to make friends in grade school and high school. After graduating from high school, I left for college in Springfield, MO. I quit after one year and got married. I worked for the Treasury Department for 20 years. I have traveled a lot. I had four children...three boys and a girl. I lost my middle son in a car accident in 1987...he was just 19. My husband retired from his job in 1987. We built our retirement home on Tablerock Lake just south of Branson. massive heart attack and was in hospice care. He was very ill, so we decided to live full time in Mesa AZ. My husband passed away on May 24th, 2010
I still stay in touch with the first boy that I ever had a crush on. We have remained good friends over the years and talk to each other on the phone at least once a month!!
I am on facebook as Patricia Nelson Davis. I love facebook. I have made friends from all over the world. I am leaving for Europe on August 23, 2010. I have friends in Italy that I want to visit while there. I will be traveling all over Europe and finally returning home on December 9th. Look me up on facebook and add me as a friend!! I really don't expect anyone from high school to remember me. I was too quiet.
