Life
It's really amazing sometimes the things that I have become involved with on a daily basis. After raising my four children I am now the Grandmother of nine. That in itself will keep you busy! While I was supposed to be semi-retired, I took on many jobs within my church that led to Our Church being recognized as the first and only Native American Church in the State of NJ,I also serve on The Vison Team of the Bishop's Cabinet of the Greater New Jersey United Methodist Conference as well as on the Executive Board of the North Eastern Jurisdiction Task Force Committee for Native Americans. This district covers from the tip of Canada to N.Carolina. I am also a Council Woman for The Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribe of Indians located in Bridgeton,NJ. non Twp. NJ recently and suceeding in having it listed on The State of NJ Registar of Hisoric Places as well as the National Registar. This is only the second NA Site listed in the entire State of NJ. I am currently working on a Canoe trip taking place in NJ from June 3-19 in conjunction with The Secretary of States office in Trenton,NJ.This trip will have 15 stops over the 16 days that will showcase NJ and the Native American history that it contains. I am also Chairperson Of The Committee on Native American Ministry for the NJ Conference. Serve as Secretary for St. John United Methodist Church(Fordville)and many other titles. Free Time? What little that is left I spend with Family and Grandchildren,reading,horsebackriding or studing history or giving a lecture or speech somewhere. Also a memeber of SNJ Archeological Society.
