One of Patricia's favorite quotes is:"Close enough for government work!". More about Patricia:"I love to bellydance, paint, make costumes, talk, laugh, pet dashounds and yellow striped cats, make jewelry, sing badly, dye silk veils and spend time with my Mike. I don't like housework, dishes, laundry, running, jogging, or walking, getting older, not being able to jump, not having a car, having aching knees and back, and having to spend money on doctors. If I could I would end world hunger, raise, care, and love any kid that wasn't wanted, sing well, cure cancer, make mankind love one and other and do my best to make people smile. What I usually accomplish is to watch TV, sit on my butt, miss church, eat too much junk food, curse, play too much on my computer, not spend enought time doing my art or creating things, not going outdoors and not singing enough (wheather good or bad). That pretty much sums me up!". New update. I am now separated from Mike and I am living with my daughter Joyce and her family in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Starting over again at 60. I am scared and excited. What an adventure. New, New update. Because I will not make it to the 50th reunion I decided to update in case anyone is interested. n for 7 years. I am still living with Joyce and we are in Rio Rancho, just north of Albuquerque. Life is good. My oldest grandson just turned 19 in April and graduated from High School in Bangor, Maine. He is still with my oldest daughter Trisha and her husband, but will be looking at what he wants to do in the future. My oldest grandgirl Lizzy turned 19 in May and she is living in her own apartment close to the University in Albuquerque with her boyfriend. She is one semester away from getting her AA degree and works part-time. The other 4 grandkids are still here at home, although Joyce and her ex have 50/50 custody at the moment. Joyce isn't officially divorced yet, but it is in the process. The two of us have been doing online schooling with the kids since the Covid outbreak and will continue to do so because it works well with the kids and us. Zee is 16, Nicholas is 13, Joseph is 10 and Wesley is 7.. It is a bit hard for Joyce and I both when the kids are with their dad, but we are doing fine with it and it might change when the school year starts up again this fall. Life is good for me. I am still belly dancing, although given I am well past my experation date it is only an occasional student showcase or hafla. And I hope to start teaching a senior belly dance class again at the local senior center. I had done that before Covid, but with everything that had been going on I really only started getting back to normal this past year. I am actually having more fun now as an old lady than I ever did in High School. I love it in New Mexico and really have felt like it is where I was always meant to be. I am on Facebook under Pat Paiz if anyone is interested in looking me up. And if you should find yourself in the Albuquerque area feel free to let me know and we can get together .

I really only have one official picture of me in uniform. I am sure there are others, but I just haven't gotten around to finding them and scanning them in yet. Joyce and I are going out to the Olive Garden for lunch, (ye
