Patricia's Story
Life
Well, after high school I decided not to go on to CEGEP right away and so I decided to work, save money and backpacked all over Europe with two of my best friends. I ended up not going to university and my biggest surprise of all is that I've been very lucky career-wise - and I have a very good job. I got married in 1982, have 2 great kids (Derek born in 1987 and Candice born in 1990), got divorced in 1997, and I'm concentrating on stopping to smell the roses, basically enjoying things. I've decided that older is better - for me. I don't have the shyness and insecurities that I had in my teens which was a real downer, and I can just be myself and enjoy everyone and everything. got divorced and again bought a house in Rosemere. What can I say, it's a great town!! My kids went to RHS and I had a major case of deja vu every time I went there for curriculum night! It's all good memories. Wow, it's been 45 years since graduation. Can't believe so many years have gone by. And before I forget, for those of you who haven't been back to Rosemere for a while, an important landmark back in our teens has been torn down... the Rosemere INN!!! It was replaced with a strip mall and there's a restaurant where the Inn used to be. Now I feel old! Well, basically life is good right now, and hopefully it will continue to be for a long time. I'd love to catch up with anyone I knew back in high school. Feel free to contact me on Facebook. Cheers!
