Patricia's Story
I have lived a rather quiet dull, life. After graduation I moved to Houston where I worked at Methodist Hospital,,then in 1966 my brother was killed on a freeway in Beaumont by a drunk driver at age 22. Devastated I moved back to Beaumont for 6 months to be with my parents and my brother 6mo. old son.In 1967 moved back to Houston y and lived there until 1971,when I moved back to Beaumont.In July of 1971. I went to Oklahoma for nursing training ,March of 1972, there I was back in Beaumont. I met my husband in August of 1972,, I have 2 children,.In 1986 moved to San Angelo,Texas which was my husband home town, until November2005. My son served 8 years in the Marine Corp,fighting in Iraq in 1991 and Somilia in 1993.In 1995 my son and wife joined us in San Ang...Expand for more
elo and we were a family together. In1996 my husband was diagnoised with Mutiple Myeloma ,, and given 18 months. In April1st.1998 he lost his battle.My children decided to move back where family was ,, so my daughter moved to Houston I and my son to Beaumont.I was blessed with a grandson by my son in April of 1999..In December of 2005 my daughter was expecting her first child so I moved back here to Houston, and in 2009 her second child.I have 1 wonderful grandson and 2 lovely grand-daughters that I cherish and thank God for everyday.I'm semi-retired but one day eventually I'll totally retire. I love the Healthcare field ,,I only do private duty and 2 days a week, just doing something keeps me going. I hope I didn't bore anyone with my exciting life,,,Lol
