Patricia's Story
Life
Patricia (Pat)Wilson-Wilcox, a little shy girl from Connie Drive.
I live and have lived in various locations in Rancho Cordova for many years. For 29 years, I worked in various departments for the County of Sacramento. As of January 10, 2003, I am the "retired" (hooray!) Director of Animal Care and Regulation. I continue to be the Chairman of the nonprofit affiliated agency Teaching Everyone Animals Matter (TEAM).
I had a 3 year break in work service which included a two-year sailing trip to New Zealand and back aboard a 45 ft...Expand for more
. sail boat(sloop) and have traveled extensively since then. I have 2 dogs (wonderful mutts) and 3 cats.
I am divorced, have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren and am involved in a long-term commitment with retired Sac. County Chief Probation Officer Jim Mercer (he used to own the sailboat). He has been retired since he was 45! He also has a dog (a bigger mutt). He has just built another home in Kelsey (12 miles north of Placerville, CA). Now we have two houses to maintain!
I am currently living happily ever after in Rancho Cordova.
