No, I didn't join a commune in California when I left Lanier. I got married, had a son, moved to Michigan, back to Alabama, got divorced, moved back to Michigan, back to Alabama, and back to Michigan to stay. r a large HMO insurance company now and my husband is an auto body repairman. We love Jamaica and return to Negril every February. Plan to spend our winters in Gulf Shores, AL when we retire. I remember all my skipping school at Floyd and Lanier and it's a wonder I ever amounted to anything with my bad habits! Old hippies never die--they just grow up!
