Patrick's Story

Life Hi! Since high school I attended CSUN for 3 and 1/2 years, studying film production. I dropped out of school and spent several years working with my brother John in the window covering trade. At the age of 30 I returned to school, obtained my undergraduate degree and enrolled in law school. After obtaining my J.D. I went to work for a Bankruptcy Judge as his law clerk for two years. It was while working with the Judge that I met Judy, my wife. I was lucky in that she had two beautiful children, Chris and Caitlin. I am proud to say that they call me Dad! We lived in Ventura for several years after my two years with the Judge. I practiced bankruptcy law and general civil litigation with a law firm in Ventura for j...Expand for more
ust over a year. I then applied for and was accepted by the L.A. City Attorney's Office as a criminal prosecutor. I work out of the Van Nuys Office, where my Supervisor is Richard Schmidt, (St. Gen's Class of '72) I am happy to say that I enjoy my work and that my family brings me great joy. I do see some of my high school classmates- Bill and Mary (Lamphar)Smith, Paul Odermatt, Dave Cowan and Kevin Ary, on a fairly regular basis. Bill Zemba's painting company recently painted my house. It was great to see him and his company does great work! I have had the opportunity to run into law school classmates on occasion and it has nearly always been a fun experience. Please fell free to contact me, I'd love to hear from you
