Patsy's Story

Most of my teachers were inspiring and I became a first grade and kindergarten teacher. I retired after 40 years of teaching. After graduating from Long Beach State College I taught in the Garden Grove school district for 10 years and even taught at the same school along with two other classmates and my 6th grade teacher, Bob DeHart. er, I would do a few things differently. The funniest thing I remember was when my English teacher, Miss Dale, string of beads broke. She was so embarassed. One of my happiest moments was when I was crowned queen of the Farmer's Ball that I attended with Chuck Amling. I have many crazy memories doing things with "the girls". Most of us still keep in touch after all these years.
