Patsy Berry:  

After graduating from high school, I took a job with the federal government which lasted for 8 years off and on. I married Bill (Moore) Berry (who also went to Rio Linda High) in Sept. 1966. He was in the Navy, and I moved back and forth from Sacramento to Alameda when he was in Vietnam and the Mediterranean aboard ship. In 1971, we had our first child, a son, Eric. Our daughter, Carley, was born in 1974. We have moved around a bit, living for a brief time in southern California and a couple of years in Colusa. We ended up settling in Sacramento. Besides being a stay-at home mom, I have had many various jobs, most interesting as a dispatcher/matron for Colusa County Sheriff's Dept. and as a court clerk. In 1985, I started working as a legal secretary, and I am still doing that. Bill has been on disability retirement for about 5 years.
