Patt's Story

After H.S. graduation, went to Valparaiso University; graduated w/B.A. in 1973. Met my husband there; married in Aug. 1973. Lived in LaPorte, IN, while he went to law school; moved back to civilization/Chicago area in 1977. Two daughters, Amanda ('79) and Alison ('83). e ass't to VPs of several companies; owned my own tutoring center for 10 years; taught in public schools. Back to grad school at age 49 along w/my oldest daughter; got M.A. in special education w/honors (got a 4.0--not like H.S. or college!). Currently semi-retired, working part-time for my husband's law firm.
