Patti's Story
Life
After graduating from Newark Memorial HS in 1983 I attended CSUH and graduated with a BS in Mathematics. I then got my teaching credential and I have been teaching Math at the Junior High level since 1988. My first Job was at La Loma Junior High in Modesto. I worked there for eight years. In 1990 I married Micheal Rich but unfortunatly the marriage ended in 1994. In 1996 I moved back to Fremont and began teaching at Newark Junior High. I didn't give up on love and marriage and in 1998 I married Steven Reberg an air traffic controller whom my Father introduced me to. We were blessed with Allison Grace Reberg on June 4, 2000. I took some time off from teaching to take care of Allie. She was the joy of our lives. ril 27, 2002 after 15 months of fighting. My folks retired to Groveland in January of 2002 so without those family ties to the Bay Area I moved back out to the valley after Steven's death. I moved into a home in Oakdale in July 2002 and have lived ever since. I went back to work part time in 2004 for a small wonderful K-8 school just outside of Oakdale named Valley Home teaching Math to their 6th-8th graders. Allison began kindergarten there in 2005 close to Mommy. In October of 2006 Oakdale Junior High stole me away from Valley Home and I shifted back into full time work. Allison then in first grade shifted to a school three blocks from our home. In 2003 I began a relationship with a wonderful man named Brian who has enhanced our lives by also including his three daughters Emily, Molly and Gabby,into our family.
