Patti Lopez:  

I was in Tulsa until about 1965. Graduated Tulsa Central in 1961, then spent a few years working and going to night school at University of Tulsa, specializing in English and Business. I moved to Vail, Colorado in 1965, and stayed there for five years working in the hotel/restaurant business. After a brief sojourn in Colorado Springs, I moved to California in 1970 and lived in Stockton until 1972, when I moved to Sacramento and resumed my life as a professional legal secretary. Soon after, I met and married George Harley Kaiser, after helping him legally change his last name to Deini to honor his stepfather, who had raised him since he was a baby. George and I had two girls, Mercy and Wendy, and after living in West Point, California for a few months, moved back to Sacramento. George was a logger, and commuted to the mountains every workday during the season. He was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1979. In 1980, I met and married Harold O. Lopez, who was happy to start over with a new family. He already had three boys who were grown. Mike and Pat had their own families, and Chris was just moving out on his own at the time. ...Expand for more
