Patti's Story
Life
I moved to the Washington DC area in 1976 and have been here ever since. 2 kids, 1 divorce, 1 Grandson, 1 remarriage and 3 stepchildren. Most of my work life has consisted of being an Office Manager, General Manager, jack of all trades in various companies. It paid the bills. A couple of years ago I left the rat race to persue my dream job as a Landscape Designer. I specialize in restoring or installing 'Antique' or historic gardens and landscapeing. It's hard work, but if you love what you are doing, it is always worth it!

un DH and I travel quite a bit. Just came back from Alaska in June. Next year, hopefully, England, Ireland, and France to visit friends. We also do the reinnassiance faire, explore local historic areas and entertain a lot of out of town company. We live in a 170 year old farm house that we have been retoring for the last 7 years (it's a never ending job)with our 2 dogs. All of our children are grown and on their own :).
My family still lives in Oak Lawn and the surrounding area (I'm the only one in the family to 'run away from home')
