Patti's Story
I look nothing like I did in high school. After school I went to Davidson County Community College and then met my first husband. After a few years, we divorced and I moved to Greensboro and vowed that I would never get married again.
I began to go back to school at UNGC and then met my future husband. I can not say how much I love this man. Even if he gets on my nerves. I wish I met him the first time!!!!
September 11, 2001, I gave birth to a little boy and he looks just like his daddy! Blonde hair and blue eyes and 7 years old!! He and his brother and Daddy are the most inportant things in my life. God has blessed me!!!
My step-son Sean, is in the Marines and is 23 years old. I remember when he used to...Expand for more
hold me hand going across the street and I am sure that even now he would deny it!!! He is in Irag and we really miss him alot.
When my husband and I met, I told him ,that I thought he was a "jerk" and told him to leave me alone. After about a year of being "good friends" we decided to try and date. Then everything just fell into place.
We do have a military family and everyday I thank God for giving me what I do have today. Love, friendship, family and happiness.
I do remember things back in school and I rememer my friends, Renee Morris, Teresa Reid, Kathy Alexander Mary Bradsher and especially Chris Whitman. That boy
was just not right!!! We even went to the high school prom together! What memories!!
