Hi all! Just celebrated 27 years with Gary!!! He is a smart and witty man (handsome too) who keeps my interest on a lot of levels!! We also just adopted a rescued dog: a real sweetie!!! She is 2 years old, and part American Eskimo...all white!!! We should invest in Petco stock as she is being well cared for and a frequent client at the groomers!!! Our lives have changed much for the better in the last year. Cancer didn't manage to get either one of us down... temporary set-backs for us both in 2004 (me) and 2006 (Gary), but things looking okay for now!!! We also moved a year ago to a quiet house with a huge front yard at the end of a dead-end street. We just had a hawk land in our backyard, and last week had a coyote in the front yard!!! We love the peace and quiet here and have a small neighborhood park within two blocks (and a shortcut across the street that opens up onto the park grass if one feels like trudging through the underbrush and ducking under branches!!!) I spent the last 12 years doing parent-care for my mom and dad, who have both passed now. I was rather prepared for this as I switched careers in 1991 and took Medical Assisting.
