Patti's Story
Life
It's good to see all of your names again! My "after" picture is with my son, Scott Tingle, at his recent wedding. Ken Tingle & I married and divorced with just 3 years of marriage. He died suddenly in 1989 from sudden heart failure.
I graduated from the U. of O. in 1968, staying on for a master's in Special Education which I completed by June 1969. I have been teaching all of this time, high school, working with students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD.
In 1991,I returned to graduate school in psychology. After 3 years ...Expand for more
of school, 3000 hours of training, and oral and written tests, I became licensed as a psychotherapist. I have a home office, working part-time as a therapist in the evenings after a day of teaching.
My mom lives in Bend alone now since my dad died a little over a year ago. I do visit often, but I don't know where any of you are!
Life is good mostly. Like it probably is for everyone, there have been ups & downs, joys and sorrows,triumphs and tragedies. I hope others will write too about how there lives have been. Love, Patti Hellerud
