Patty (Dona)'s Story
Life
I have been married for 7 years to Sean Wainwright. We currently live in Seattle, WA. Our cats, Heathen and Mischief, ran the house until recently. Our new family addition takes priority now.
School
The best parts of high school were the drama and music programs. I loved being on stage. After getting married, I went to work full time for a few years. Two years ago my husband took on some extra work so I could retire. I got back into singing and auditioned for some musicals last year. I was in "Working" in the summer and "Man of La Mancha" in the fall. I was just starting the second trimester of pregnancy when La Mancha closed. e on growing a healthy baby. In a few months I may decide to go back to the stage. Until then, baby and I are enjoying getting to know one another.
College
I left UCSD after one year to pursue a more arts-centered degree. This brought me to Seattle to attend Cornish College of the Arts. After just a few days of classes, I decided that I hated the school and never went back. Sometimes I regret not finishing college, but I was able to take advantage of some work opportunities that I would not have had if I was in school.
Workplace
I have recently retired from full-time work. I am now a homemaker, part-time blackjack and Texas Hold'em dealer, and occasional stage actress/singer.
