Patty's Story
Hi guys! My family and I moved to Roselle from Bayonne in 1969. If you don't remember me, perhaps you remember my brothers; Sean, Brian & Will. My parents are still on Wood Ave. I attended Washington Elementary, Wilday Middle and Abraham Clark High School. After graduating the College of St Elizabeth in 1986. I entered the field of Special Education and loved teaching & advocating for students with disabilities until 2008 when my health forced me to retire early. I have continued to help families as a Special Education Advocate. I met my husband Bob Lang, at the Goal Post in Fanwood in October of 1986.. We were married at St. Joseph's in 1989. e built in 2002 in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, but I am hoping to be moving in the next 6 months or so. We were blessed with 4 wonderful children. My twins, Anthony and Colin are 26. My son Jack is 24. And my daughter Dolly is going to be 18. Last year, Colin, married a truly a beautiful Jersey Shore girl, Taylor. My own health has not been as good as I would like. I am the survivor of 3 strokes, multiple mini strokes, a heart defect, heart issues and a brain tumor. Despite challenges abd set backs, I am truly grateful for everything I have, that I have survived and the people that I have met along the way. 40 years after graduating Abe's, I am starting a new journey, and I look forward to all tgat life will bring me. I love to catch up with classmates and friends from Roselle!
