Life
I apologize for not having all this business taken care of. I'll start at the start. I live in Ceres, you all know it-south of Modesto, barely getting it's 2nd Starbucks and home of racial profiling and no theatres. But this is where we hang our hats. I am happily Mama to 2 great girls- natural musicians and voracious readers. Christian is 14 and Maya is 9. Christian looks like me in 1976-like she fell out of the cast of "That 70's show"-long stringy black hair, flair pants and a baggy sweatshirt over the top. This retro shit kills me. Maya is her own person-doesn't give a care what others think.
I just remarried- hitched to my guy of 5 years,Scott-he's a cowboy, although he does not have a horse, but neverthless proud to be an "okie". He has a kid which means I am somebody's "Stepmonster"- now don't ...Expand for more

I have been singing as a career since out of high school, and much to my chagrin sorry I never did it while at Downey ( I encourage my kids to do so at every turn) I've sang at many of this class's weddings (more than once for some of you-but we won't name names) and I play out here and there around the region with and without the band. I was blessed to sing for our beloved late Pope in January at the Vatican. If I didn't do much else---that experience will have been enough for me. I've been trying to get our cheap Reunion committee to hire me to play for you all-but it hasn't happened yet. I don't expect it'll be happening for sure after they read this. That's okay they know I'm joking. I will plug my cd that'll be available in the summer called,"In Between", more news on that later. Patty
