Patty's Story
Hi Everyone!
I feel guilty for adding myself on this site, because I didn't graduate with your class. I did attend Clintondale School from kindergarten to the 10th grade. I had also attended Chippewa Valley, for my 10th grade year, then dropped out of high school and had a baby. I was married for ten very long years. I graduated from night school from Chippewa Valley, with three kids in tow. Strangely enough, the same month I was divorced, I graduated high school, and began Ferris State University. After Ferris State I transferred to Central Michigan University received BS then went on to Grand Valley State University and earned an MSW. But, I'm a nurse now.
When I was in the first grade my family moved to California. I began school, and was assigned a seat next to a young boy. He was a total perfectionist... I would watch him transform all his assignments into a flawless masterpiece... Remember this is the first grade...
I would tell him to just hand in anything, that the teacher would give him a smiley face or a star no matter what he turned in....
Then... my family moves back to Michigan after living in CA for a year.
Strangely enough the young bo...Expand for more
y I met in California turns up in my 5th grade class here in Michigan... He's even more focused, driven, was now goal driven, and wise beyond his years.
Even in the fifth grade I knew the universe was trying to teach me something. I also knew something bigger then I could ever comprehend was taking place, and I listened. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, their are no accidents... So with that understanding I've began to emulate some of this young mans qualities.
And I learned that the art of perfection works! :)
I have also been blessed with the "best" brother, and sister, any person can possibly have. You may know Dennis and Lori. They both showered me with their loving encouragement, mentoring, and cattle prodding which made me finish school.
It takes a village... and loving siblings.
So thank you, Dennis, and Lori I love you both more than words can say...
And, thank you... Ron Zimmerman for demonstrating the art of perfection.
To you reading my profile,
I wish you abundant joy, peace, love and happiness.
If you happened to be in my fifth grade class with Ms Harper, forgive her.... she was a very, very, very sick person.
