Patty's Story
Life
Moved to California in sophomore year and graduated from high school in Santa Barbara. Have a son, Daniel, age 35 and a daughter, Larissa, age 30. AND two grandaughters, aged 8 and 4. My daughter and older granddaughter live Slidell, LA. My son and his daughter live in Sacramento, CA. I have worked as a legal secretary all my career days. June for a few days, to remind myself of my roots. I lived in Slidell during the Big Flood and survived Hurricane Katrina just fine, minor damage. The City of New Orleans, however, will never be the same.
I love to travel and finally made it to Germany twice in 2008, which I have always wanted to do. Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
In late 2008 I was dxed with ALS, but don't sob for me. Pray for my continuing strength. I am lucky to have lived with a life with no regrets.
