Patty's Story
After high school I got married and had my beautiful daugher Kelly. My husband was in the service and was fortunate to go to Germany and not Viet Nam. We spent a year in Germany living in a quiet village. He spent most of his time in the field. After returning home I went back to work in a small company on Neville Island. I got divorced 5 years later. I raised my daughter for the next 14 years. We moved to California in 82 where I met my present husband, Robin, and we've been married 20 years. He is now retired with two kids and two grandkids. My daughter Kelly is married with two beautiful girls. I have been working 13 years full time for the same company for the COO as his Executive Assistant. I just recently cut my hours down to 32 a week working as the HR Assistant, doing recruiting and Generalist work. Robin...Expand for more
and I now live in a retirement community near Laguna Beach after selling our home in Fountain Valley. We play golf, swim, hike and have many friends and family in the area. Rege and Paul live in LA; Marcia and her 16 year daugher live close by in Orange County, CA also along with our mom, Betty Nolan. Bud passed away in 1999. Libby and Frank and girls still live in the Berg. It's always fun to return to Pittsburgh and see how beautiful it has become.
I'm not sure how old friends from high school remember me. I just recently read the notes on the back of the senior photos and most wrote "to a sweet kid. Stay as sweet you are and you will go far". Too funny. We attended the 20 year reunion and had a great time. Hopefully there will be a 40 year reunion next year. I will look forward to seeing all the old gang.
