Patty's Story
I've been back in Iowa for about 11 years from the west coast. We miss the weather out there, but it's nice to be able to raise our children here. I've been married to my wonderful husband Jim for 15 years and have been blessed in many ways. Jim has been railroading for the past 11+ years we've been here and for the last 5 years, I've worked at the local high school. My mom lives just 1 block from me and I have many of my sib...Expand for more

Our oldest is a senior in college with my next oldest a junior in the high school were I work at. Our only son is a freshman, with our youngest daughter starting 6th.
Our lives are busy with activities and school. My oldest and dearest childhood friend, whom I sure many of you can guess, just lives 5 blocks from me. Our youngest kids are growing up together, just like we did. It's such a trip!
