Patty's Story
I am very happily retired! My number one hobby is being a grandma to our thirteen very busy grandchildren, ranging in age from 23 to 5. Two of them currently attend Shadle, and two graduated from Shadle in 2010. We also have a two-year-old great-granddaughter, which makes me sound very old, but getting to participate in their activities and taking them camping is keeping me young--right?

I taught as a Reading Specialist in the Community Colleges of Spokane's Adult Basic Education program at the Monroe Center for over 25 years. I have four great children: Douglas, Michael, Jennifer, and Holly. They all live in the Shadle area except Douglas, who lives in Beaverton, Oregon.
My favorite place to spend my time is at Loon Lake in the house I inherited from my parents. Our entire family loves spending time together at the lake on or in the water, playing on the beach, eating, visiting, and laughing!
