Patty's Story
Life
In July of 2002, I moved to Florence, SC. On May 31, 2003 I was married to Craig Olsen, he is from Austin, MN. He is employed with Road Rescue, they manufacture custom built ambulances. I have two sons from my first marriage, Jason is 27 and lives in Tampa and Travis, 26 is a Marine currently stationed at MCAS, Beaufort, SC soon to deploy to Iraq. Unlike Tampa, Florence is a small town and although I miss shopping certain stores and eating at familiar restaurants the change of pace has been nice, I especially enjoy the change of seasons.
I collect cookbooks, love to cook and enjoy working in the yard. We are still fairly close to the east coast beaches however, my preference is still the gul...Expand for more
f beaches...the traffic and tourist at Myrtle Beach in the summer are not worth it.
I have been fortunate enough to be able to attend all the reunions and always look forward to the others, although it looks as though the one coming in July 2008 is not going to be possible. We are moving to Minnesota at the end of August along with my son getting to ready to deploy it is going to be hard for me to get away :( , although I am not giving up hope just yet :)
Through this site I have reconnected with some really special friends from school and hope to continue doing so.
