Patty's Story

Life So life is good. I am busy with nursing school and loving every minute of it! Will graduate in September 2008. All 4 kids are grown and gone and the grandkids are adorable. Oh wait...my 21 year old has moved back home and is going to college WITH me! We are having a blast and enjoying our time together. She is embarrassed that mom won student of the year at the college and sees my name on everything but I'm hoping it really actually inspires her. Hubby is in Iraq...again... and I miss him a lot. We have been married 22 years and conqured many battles but also made so many great memories! He is my best friend! He will be home a month before I graduate! I still love to tr...Expand for more
avel and I love adventure. I don't have much spare time, but when I do I volunteer at Hospice, I play my guitar, run, bike, swiim and travel. Life IS an adventure. I can't seem to let go of the belief that there is something good in everyone! It gets me in trouble to this day. But it is all worth it...I have met and become friends with some amazing people! See you all in 2011! Military Fort Irwin..hmmm..what can I say...FUN and TROUBLE!! Lots of partying, Las Vegas,sunbathing nude in the desert with ice packed around us to keep from frying! Did I say partying??? The female barracks where we just had a cubicle to live in! Great friends and lots of drama! What happened to everyone?
