Life
I remember going to Taco Time everyday for lunch. Remember the hall monitors. Remember that Jim Bulis always got away with skippin classes and hanging out in the commons. I saw Paul Houvener on a T.V. game show. I believe it was Jeopardy. I ended up getting my R.N. degree. I started out in ICU/CCU, I have also done pediatrics, eye surgery, dermatologist, mother baby unit, IV therapy, Home infusion. I finally started my own corporation, s election P.S. to place PICC lines at the bedside using portable ultrasound imaging. Our success rate went from the traditional 40-60% to 99.8%!! My partner and I were published in the American Journal of Infusion therapy. I have a daughter who is now 23, and is having a grand child-girl-in 2 weeks. I also have a darling 20 y.o. son who I just adore. No, I'm not the party girl anymore. I stopped that when I was about 17 years old. I graduated from Woodway 6 months early, and saved my money and toured Europe for 2 months. Best thing I have ever done, besides make my babies. There is so much history there its so amazing. hen you come back home, you realize how rich and wealthy Americans are. We have so much and we have taken it all for granted. I was on bedrest with my son for 4 months!!!!!! I was in the hospital for the last 3 weeks. I snuck out and ran up and down the stairs, and did jumping jacks etc., but he never came. I probably didn't need to be on bed rest!! I didn't know if he was a boy or girl because during my ultrasound, he had his back turned toward us. He was born in 2 hours. My daughter was born in 3 hours. I went naturally. It was great because as soon as the baby was out, no more pain, and no hangover!! Except I lost 1/2 of my blood volume. I refused blood because at that time they weren't testing blood for AIDS. So I kept passing out when they would hand my daughter to me, and then next thing I know, those dang smelling salts in my nose!! I enjoy white water rafting, fishing (trolling), building, crafts, creating, doing partial web design, creating, making business plans, do brochures for clients. I have had a very full life!
