Paul's Story
Update Sept 2023 Still kicking! We're still in Waynesville and having a great time. My eyesight is degrading (macular degeneration)... get shots in my eyes, FUN. I still see well enough to do most things, even read with glasses but I had to get rid of my Harley which really hurt. Been riding since MDHS! Had a BSA then, maybe you remember., followed by a Triumph Bonneville, a couple of Hondas and finally my 2003 Harley Lowrider (FXDL). Passed it on to my younger son Robert so at least it's still in the family. Been travelling quite a bit, a Christmas Market cruise along the Rhine, another cruise around Italy from Venice to Rome, and several cruises to the Caribbean. Just got back from a week at the Grand Mayan on the Mayan Riveira in Mexico, between Cancun and Cozumel. Will try to put up some pics. You all take care and drop us a note, or come visit some time.

I was commissioned in 1981 and retired as the Radar and Landing Systems Officer on the USS Dwight D. EISENHOWER (CVN -69) with 24 years service.. I worked another 25 years as a Navy Defense Co.contractor retiring from Engineering Services Network (ESN) as Senior Vice-president..
I married my HS girlfriend Pat Walkerl which didn't work out well except for my daughter Victoria! Married my wonderful wife Linda in 1978 and we celebrated our 42nd anniversary this month (Aug 2020). We have 2 sons Jim and Robert and 2 wild Grandsons Dean (6) and Miles (3).. The boys still live in Va Beach,, but Linda and I now live in a log home In the Great Smokey Mountains west of Asheville, NC about 2 miles from the National Park..
