Paul's Story
Life
My first love in life is music -- truly my passion.
Besides music my favs are traveling, computers, a day at the beach, a long motorcycle ride, or a night out partying with friends.
When I'm not out enjoying life's freedoms you'll usually find me hard at work at my tour company -- Voyageur Educational Tours. We send American students on educational discovery tours all around the world. Although I'd much rather be traveling it seems office life has a strong hold on my days. However I get the privilege of traveling the globe every so often.
I also spend many a long night writing software. Been doing this for years since the early days of micro and mini computers becoming skilled in Basic, Pascal, C, RPG (yuck), Unix and Linux flavors, ASP, now focusing on PHP and MySQL web database systems. host of politicians -- even a 2008 Presidential Campaign which is very exciting but has given me many a sleepless night.
I'm also a single dad with a nine year old boy, Ciriaco. He keeps me energetic and motivated when at times I just want to quit all this craziness. I also have a daughter Lindsey who lives in works in downtown Boston.
As I write this blurb the summer of 2007 is coming to a close in Central Massachusetts. The days are still warm but cool air fills the night. Some of the leaves on the tress have started to turn and fall to the ground. Soon the green of summer and the smell of freshly cut grass will give way to cold rain and snow in the coming months. Winter is not my friend.
