Paul's Story
Life
Updated 06JUL2014. Tami and I are still happily married, and we have 10 kids. The oldest is 19. Now, before you try to do the math, let me explain. We adopted 3, and had 7 the old-fashioned way. Thus the narrow age range. We have 6 boys and 4 girls. The penultimate ... a boy.. was born while we were PCS to Australia. We had our last, Josephine, in 2009. So, backing up.... since graduation in 1979....well, after 3 years at Penn State (much of that spent driving back and forth with Dave Kefford and Bill Webster) I transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg VA. I finished my BS there, and after drifting about a bit back in Camp Hill (selling stereo gear for WES then Bryn Mawr Stereo, then managing at Wendys, then managing at Pomeroys/Bon Ton) I found myself in northern Virginia working for the US Government. That was in 1988. Tami and I met that year at a local church, and we married in 1994. We moved into my home in Herndon, then after having 2 kids and considering the adoption of a ...Expand for more
sibling foster group, moved to another place just around the corner from the old one. Then, in a big life change, I transferred and we moved to a base in southern VA July 2002. We still spent time back in Camp Hill, visiting my folks every now and then. Other weekends we would fish on the bass boat, or hit yard sales, go to church, museums, go biking, etc. Then in July 2004 I transferred again and we made the REALLY big move to central Australia. It was a great experience, and was hard to leave after 3 years. Then back in the Northern VA area. We bought a house in Leesburg, were settled in by Christmas, 2007. April 2008 my Dad passed away, then my Uncle Bill. I heard from various friends around then, as the obits hit the papers and I traveled back to Camp Hill several times. Then another PCS transfer, this time to the UK from May 2010-2013. Then another transfer to our current posting at the US Embassy, Amman, Jordan.
OK, enough about me...send me an email and tell me what's up with you. Paul
