Paul's Story
Hated HS, met wife-to-be, who loved the UW, wondered how education could possibly be enjoyable, went for one quarter (UW) to see, ended up with a Ph.D. eight years later (BS in 3 years from UW and Ph.D. in 5 years from Colorado State University). Worked as Staff Psychologist at the Grant County Mental Health Center in John Day, OR (Population 1700, one stop light in the entire county); took over as Program Director 18 months later; left 18 months after that to start a Private Practice in Port Angeles, WA in 1984 (still practicing, living in Sequim). Met (1972) and married (1974) the love of my life, Cathy, and we had two wonderful sons, 1979 and 1983. Grandfather of one.

and we've had some amazing horseback riding adventures, camps, and rides over the last couple decades (including one tow bill for $2500). I've had about 8 horses over the years, but I traded them all in for 650 horses in 2017 (2014 supercharged Camaro SS convertible). It has been a good life so far, and likely will continue to be ... colored by achy shoulders, knees, hips, wrists, fingers, and toes, toenail fungus, failing eye sight and hearing, excess skin and sags, and growing annoyance with everyone else's efforts to embarrass themselves with their remarkably "knowledgeable" political beliefs.
But fundamentally, all there really is to know about me is that, without my Cathysweeta, I'd be nothing; with her, it has been one hell of an amazing ride so far!
