The biggest surprise to some of my high school classmates probably would be that I went to college, and that I graduated. It even surprises me! It would probably shock them more that I was in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities for three years, Junior Class President, President of Sigma Chi Fraternity twice, as well as, Inter Fraternity Council President and on the all Inter-mural teams in Football (quarterback) and Softball (pitcher) for two years. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound graduating in 1963 after 4 years in the Air Force. Art Farler, Dick Madsack and I joined the AF at the same time Nov 1954. Gary Fulton from OHS class of 1960 (?) was in Sigma Chi fraternity with me at UPS. The past fifty five+ years have been spent being self-employed and sometimes self-unemployed. After a few early years of career chaos, I evolved into 15+ years as a self employed Sales Training Consultant (National Sales Seminars) creating and facilitating over 250+ 2-3 day dealer sales training workshops, as a consultant, for major companies like American Honda M/C Co, (7 yrs) Honda of Canada M/C and Power Equipment (5 yrs), Schwinn Bicycle Co. (6 yrs), Giant Bicycle Co. (3 yrs), Yamaha Golf Carts,, Flint and Walling (1), Harley-Davidson M/C (1). Hundred's of training hours throughout the U.S. and Canada many times, plus many hours consulting and coaching sales and key leadership individuals within those companies. I played a major role as a content resource, project consultant and on camera talent for a $650,000, 4 video/ 4 audio Pro-Leader Sales Training series that Honda developed for their M/C dealers nationally.
