Paul's Story
From the principalâs office to college, figure that one out!
I left college in my freshman year, enlisted in the Air Force, became a Flight Surgeonâs medic in the Strategic Air Command. Came back after four years and became a member of the open heart surgical team at the VA hospital in West Roxbury, left after 20 years to became the technical supervisor of the Cardiac Catherization Laboratories at Rhode Island Hospital where we performed more than 3,000 cardiac procedures per year. ter science etc., went to work for Cisco Systems troubleshooting wide area networks for their global customers, retiring completely next year at 66.
Along the way I graduated from Providence College but the most important part of my life......married my beautiful loving wife, a very courageous but foolish woman, I cannot be changed! Had four sons but my second son passed away just short of his third birthday. More than 3 decades later my wife, three sons, three grandsons and one granddaughter continue to light up old man Faiella's life.
What more could anyone want!
