I'm the Director of Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, a grassroots political organization in Palo Alto, CA. So now I'm making my living as a peace activist. This all started in high school.
I'm widowed. Barb and I were married for 32 years - got hitched at 19. She died suddenly four years ago. I'm now madly in love again with a new life-partner.
I have one grown son who's a bookseller, like his mother was.
I like to travel. Been to...Expand for more
Central America many times on political travel (in war zones!), Europe, Hawaii, and a lot (but not enough) of the US on pleasure travel.
My job is my life, really. I love it. I meet really wonderful people, get to make life miserable for Congresspeople and other pols, do a lot of public speaking and writing. Biggest crowd I've given a speech to: 250,000 in San Francisco in 1991.
Not exactly sure why I'm posting this. But I'd be glad to hear from any of you.
