Paul's Story
For those of your who went to Glenview Sr. Public, I have posted an interesting photo.
For those of us in the first graduation class the Board handed out souvenir pins.
My parents took mine and had it mounted as a ring.
Surprisingly it still fits on either of my baby fingers.
I am very much a radio person and find TV at present very boring.
Thus I have large collection of DVDs from the Golden Age of TV as well as a CD collection of Gold Age of Radio.
Try doing home renovations while watching TV, then see how much work you can do by listening to Old Time Radio.
I drove by both Allenby and Glenview the other day and both schools had signs out soliciting funds for their swimming pool restorations.
Interesting as I can see Allenby's problem the pool was put in 1936 but Glenview's pool a "State of the Art" then, came in 1966 a mere 50 years ago.
Both have value as did the pool at NTCI, I became a good swimmer confident on any lake as the bottom dropped away.
Which was lucky for my then future wife as she slid into the murky depths of Lake Simcoe.
She was operating on the false belief that she could swim.
Also a regular at the Toronto Marlies games.

a few photos of NT back in May 2010 during the final tour. I posted a few but have a lot more.
Back with the Marlies for the 2017-18 season despite the wife's protests.
We guys still have the right to fun, right Ladies?
Lost the big guy all too soon. Cancer took him.
Recommendation: One way or the other bring a handkerchief if you are seeing "A Dog's Purpose,"
Alas 22 years of German Sheppard Dogs in my life interrupted.
Only by 8 months actually. The puppy arrives soon to give this old boy a mission again.
He has arrived and I am still striving for "The Littlest Hobo".
He has achieved no bio accidents between 2230 to 0730 hours. In other words, I sleep better with the little guy at the side of my bed. The other hours has been a gem too.
So who needs an alarm clock, I have one in GSD style.. Got my first face wash from him yesterday to get me out of bed.
Latest photo. Good bye to the Impala. It transported my MIsty on her final journey. Then Sarek home and his final journey. Then brought the new guy home. I got close to 300,000 km out of it.
Then back to GM. I had a 77 Impala, on the road from Nov 1976 to Oct 2002.
Broadview Was My Beat.
